Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply PharmD education in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to deepen understanding of patient safety, DUR, and SOPs while delivering caring service to patients.

You will learn to counsel patients, support immunizations, and assist in ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across shifts, under a licensed pharmacist’s guidance.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Deliver patient service with empathy, including immunizations where allowed by law and supported by training.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Support pharmacy operations and training under supervision.
