Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations, preparing for a Pharmacist role and following a 120‑day training roadmap under a preceptor. You will assist with safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and SOP adherence.

You will work under supervision to gain hands‑on experience, learn patient safety, and develop clinical and technical knowledge while maintaining empathy and a caring service attitude to patients across the market.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Attend regular training and complete the roadmap within 120 days.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs, ensure patient safety, and provide caring service beyond expectations.
• Learn to counsel patients and participate in other patient health care services where allowed by law.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed by the business
