Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to bridge didactic education with real-world practice in retail pharmacy. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, complete a structured training roadmap within 120 days, and contribute to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate patient care.

As you gain experience, you will engage in immunizations, counseling, and potential offsite clinics, always adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and establish a safe, inclusive culture while learning to counsel and support patients.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Support immunizations and other patient health services as trained and certified.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and market-wide coverage as needed.
