Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice, under the guidance of a preceptor and district leader, completing a 120-day training roadmap designed to deepen your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, learn SOPs, and demonstrate empathy and safe patient care while preparing for increasing responsibilities as you progress toward a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days supply, refills, and dosages.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform routine tasks.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
