Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our retail team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, supporting pharmacy operations to fill prescriptions accurately and provide caring service.

You will engage in a 120‑day training roadmap, advance knowledge of patient safety, DUR, and SOPs, and explore immunizations and other clinical services as permitted.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular training and complete within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Demonstrate empathy and patient-centered service while following SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Support immunizations, counseling, and other services where allowed by law.
