Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under supervision. You will complete a 120-day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations to deepen patient safety and drug utilization knowledge.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, assist in immunizations when eligible, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions while delivering caring service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Must obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (per state guidelines).
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy standards.
• Attend to patients with empathy, provide counseling when appropriate, and support pharmacists and technicians.
• Travel to other store locations in the market as needed.
