Job summary

CVS Health in Connecticut is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real‑world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a 120‑day training roadmap and support safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while learning SOPs and patient communication.

As readiness increases, you will take on greater accountability, assist with immunizations, and travel to stores as needed to support regional operations and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prompts, safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and maintain effective communication within the pharmacy team.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law.
• Volunteer to travel to stores in the market to support business needs.
• Demonstrate empathy and patient‑centered care in all interactions.
