Job summary

CVS Health in Connecticut offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program where you apply your pharmacy education to real-world practice under a preceptor. You complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap to deepen your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations and to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

As readiness increases, you’ll support pharmacy operations, strengthen patient interactions, and participate in immunizations and other services where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program as required.
• Must be able to obtain pharmacist licensure within state timelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide customer service and team support in pharmacy operations.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by law and training.
