Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care within a CVS store. You will learn under a preceptor, follow SOPs, and develop readiness for a Pharmacist role through a structured 120‑day training roadmap.

Responsibilities expand with experience to include immunizations, DUR review, and patient counseling, while maintaining compassion, accuracy, and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over time and pivot quickly as needed.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: articulate and listen effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Problem Resolution: identify issues and choose best course of action.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items as required.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
