Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and advance toward a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap in 120 days, deepen understanding of patient safety, DUR, and professional standards, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and caring service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Offer patient counseling and support under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.

Education
