Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world store operations, under a preceptor‑led roadmap spanning 120 days. You will learn patient safety, DUR, and professional standards while supporting the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions promptly and accurately.

As your readiness grows, you will take on greater accountability in supervision, inventory, and customer interactions, while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the specified timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy operations under supervision to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunizations and patient services as allowed by state law and training.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and counseling.
• Help maintain inventory, SOP compliance, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Provide empathetic, patient‑centered service and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members as readiness increases.
