Job summary

CVS Health Corporation offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program where you apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor and district leader. A structured 120-day training roadmap advances knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

You will help ensure patient safety, appropriate drug utilization, and high-quality service while learning SOPs and professional standards in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Support patient experiences with empathy and care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone channels
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information to provide optimal care under supervision
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training
• Coach and mentor pharmacy team members to share best practices
• Perform basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership
• Travel between stores to cover shifts as needed and support the market
• Ensure compliance with all laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety
• Deliver additional patient health care services under required training and certification
