Qualifications

• Current graduate student enrollment with capacity for staffing
• Bachelor’s degree and mentoring experience preferred
• Strong communication and ethics in mentoring are essential

Responsibilities

• Meet with undergraduate employees and assigned students in the Peer Mentoring Studio
• Plan, implement, and assess engagement strategies with the faculty supervisor
• Design and host student staff meetings in the PM Studio
• Disseminate information to staff and mentees via campus channels and social media
• Maintain campus resources knowledge to encourage event attendance
• Attend training sessions and professional development activities
• Facilitate socio-academic experiences and walk-in support sessions
• Assist students in interacting with faculty and other audiences to build college life skills
• Prepare workshop plans, voiceover materials, and documentation for PM Studio
• Coordinate with faculty on mentoring interventions and outreach
