Job summary

Texas Wesleyan University is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist the Upward Bound Project Director in developing, coordinating, implementing, supervising, and evaluating activities across Academic and Summer Components in Fort Worth.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), has at least three years in TRIO/pre-college programs, and can recruit participants, supervise tutors, maintain records, and collaborate with high schools and community partners to help

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Math, Science, Education, Communications, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with TRIO or pre-college programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director with implementing a college prep curriculum and test prep.
• Recruit and select project participants.
• Develop services for academic year and summer components.
• Coordinate assessments and develop Individual Service Plans.
• Supervise tutors, instructors, and activity assistants.
• Maintain participant data and reports.
• Liaise with schools, local government, and community agencies.
