Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks an experienced Residency Program Administrator to provide administrative supervision to residents, coordinate events, and ensure policy compliance.

You will liaise with hospital leadership, manage databases (New Innovations, ERAS), support recruitment and orientation, and help maintain program operations and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree required OR minimum of four years’ experience in a full-time academic and/or program coordinator role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organized, confidential, and proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative supervision and guidance to residents regarding administrative issues, due dates, and deadlines.
• Plans residency program events including recruitment, orientation, graduation, faculty retreats, and related meetings.
• Maintains databases including New Innovations and ERAS; coordinates recruitment and external rotations.
• Ensures compliance with ACGME and hospital policies and acts as liaison to administration and other departments.
• Develops and maintains program materials, schedules, and filing systems; supports NRMP processes.
• Assists in meetings, publications, and external program advertising/media as needed.
