• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level help desk support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and support requests in a ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant vendors.
• Educate users on basic IT best practices and system usage.
