Job summary

Geisinger is offering a Graduate Inpatient RN position with a $21,000 hiring incentive and a starting wage of $40.55 per hour. Increased rates apply for experienced candidates and up to $7 per hour shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. Graduate Nurses are hired into units based on availability, including ICUs, ED, OR, and more, and will be integrated into a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program to develop advanced

Qualifications

• Direct patient care using nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Complete assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Coordinate care with team and support patient safety and quality metrics.
• Delegate tasks and adjust assignments as patient condition changes.
