Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Graduate Inpatient RNs and Experienced Inpatient RNs to join our inpatient teams. Hiring incentives up to $21,000 (new grads) or $26,000 (experienced) are available, along with a $40.55 minimum rate and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Relocation assistance is offered where eligible.

These roles require compassionate care and collaboration with the care team in a dynamic hospital setting; ongoing career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) – RN State licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification - BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care as established in unit standards including patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to resolve patient needs.
• Promotes teamwork by delegating tasks based on skill and acuity.
