Merrimack College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach graduate courses in the Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology program beginning in Fall 2026.

Qualified applicants hold a Master’s in I/O Psychology or related field; a Ph.D. is preferred. Experience teaching graduate courses and applying statistics with R/Power BI/SPSS/Python is desirable. Courses include PSY5220, PSY5230, PSY5240; instruction may be online, hybrid, or in-person.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in the content areas of the course(s) to be taught.
• Ph.D. in I/O Psychology preferred; graduate teaching experience desirable.
• Experience with statistical software (R/SPSS/SAS/Python).
• Familiarity with APA and SIOP principles and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach PSY5220, PSY5230, and PSY5240 graduate courses (4 credits each).
• Deliver instruction online, asynchronous, hybrid, or in-person as needed.
• Develop course materials, assessments, and grading rubrics.
• Ensure adherence to APA/SIOP ethics and IRB processes.
• Mentor students and contribute to program development.
