Job summary

Lumanity in Boston is seeking an Associate Consultant to join the HEOR Research team with a focus on Value & Access and clinical evidence review. The role combines training with exposure to multiple specialisms while delivering high-quality client work.

You will develop technical, scientific, and consulting skills, with opportunities to deepen expertise in value and access or pursue a secondary specialism across Evidence Review, Economic Modelling, or Statistics.

Qualifications

• MSc, PhD, or PharmD in biochemistry, biomedical science, health policy, public health, or a related field.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for developing client-facing consulting skills.
• Written English to a professional scientific-writing standard, with the ability to convey complex information as a cohesive story.
• Research and analysis skills, including the ability to critically appraise scientific evidence and synthesise findings clearly.
• Excellent communication skills and an ease in liaising with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical evidence reviews and market access projects.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and demonstrate impact of new medicines and health technologies.
• Contribute to literature-based reviews, evidence reports, and value dossiers.
• Support Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) planning and strategy development.
• Assist with abstracts, posters, or manuscripts and with economic modelling data sources.
