We are seeking aSeniorConsultant to join our North American Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Consulting practice and play a key role inprovidingstrategic insights and analyticalexpertiseto help healthcare clientsdemonstratethe value of their products and services. This client-facing role requires project team skills and technicalexpertisein designing and conductingvalue evidencedevelopment projects.The ideal candidateishighly-motivated, team-focused, andexperiencedin a range of core HEOR capabilities as described below.
Responsibilities / Position overview
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Has detailed and practical knowledge of the main research methods used within Lumanity’s HEOR practice, and awareness of new methodological and technical developments and howthey might be used within the department.
- Demonstrates a blend of project/teamwork and technicalexpertise.
- Activelyparticipatesin designing and delivering client-ready project solutions.
- Able to execute independently and provide technical leadership of junior staff on HEOR projects, and working towards strategic leadership on single-team projects
- Has developed an understanding of client needs that moves beyond the technical and includes clear and effective communication of technical concepts.
- Willing and able to engage with clients on projects, as day-to-day contact and key scientific presenter.
- Able to coordinate with project team members to complete tasks, facilitating appropriate timing and quality of task deliverables.
- Participatesin business development activities, including potential project scoping,proposaland budget development, with oversight.
- Developing professional excellence in client-facing interactions.
- Supports thought leadership asrequested.
- Likely does not have direct reports but does coach and mentor.
Time AllocationsThis role isanticipatedto spend the following percentages of their work time on the key areas listed; this is subject to change and fluctuations according to business and client needs.
- Project Delivery: 70%
- Business Development & Proposals: 20%

Qualifications
- Advanced degreerequired.
- Typical years to attain experience for this role: 5+ years

- Must have strong skills anddemonstratedconsulting experience inat least oneof these areas:- Health Economics- HEOR-related Statistics- HEOR / HTA Strategy- Evidence Review and/or Synthesis- HEOR Expert Elicitation / Stakeholder Engagement- Value Communication
- Hasknowledgeof new innovative and technical developments which could be utilized within the organization and across the HEOR functions.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $115,000-$140,000. The salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission), if applicable.
