Job summary

TRITECH Communications is seeking a Junior Project/Cost Estimator to join our Electronic Security Division based out of our NYC Office. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or an office professional seeking a start in electronic security and systems integration.

You will work with our Operations, Business Development, Design, and Estimating teams to develop accurate, competitive project estimates by reviewing drawings, specs, scopes of work and other requirements, and assisting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience or coursework in estimating, project coordination, construction, low-voltage systems, or electronic security preferred.
• Experience with electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, or related integrated systems, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and other requirements to identify materials, labor, and project needs.
• Identify materials, labor, and project needs to support complete cost estimates.
• Assist with the preparation of complete cost estimates and proposals.
