Job summary

TRITECH Communications Inc. is seeking a Project Estimator to join our Low Voltage Division.

The ideal candidate will review project plans, requirements, and specifications, helping ensure accurate and thorough pricing in collaboration with the Design Team. Based in one of our regional offices in Washington DC or NYC, the role supports operations and business development, with a focus on surveying bid packages, developing labor estimates, and managing cost controls throughout the project

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Project Estimator.
Preferred experience in Structured Cabling or Low Voltage Industry.
Ability to analyze data, identify cost drivers, and make informed judgments.
Strong attention to detail with ability to clearly present complex cost information.

Responsibilities

Survey bid packages to obtain information on the system environment prior to bid finalization.
Work with Design Engineers to determine system layout.
Accurately develop proposals including labor, materials and equipment costs.
Assist in creating change orders using the company form.
Compare competitive bids and adjust with Estimating Manager.
Track project costs against budget and forecasts to ensure financial control.
