Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. invites graduates to join our Land Development team in Dallas. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Office software to support feasibility studies, costs, and construction plans for public and private clients.

You will learn through hands-on tasks and guidance from senior engineers. Ideal candidates will hold an ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering, have experience with Civil 3D, and possess strong communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and water resources software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS).
• FE Exam passed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations, prepare equipment or material specifications, and generate technical drawings and exhibits.
• Expand your engineering toolbox and vocabulary to add knowledge of advanced techniques and industry concepts.
• Investigate existing site conditions, jurisdictional criteria, and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
• Check-ins with your manager and mentors to identify areas of excellence and growth opportunities.
