LJA Land Development is seeking a Graduate Engineer II to perform entry-level professional engineering tasks under supervision. You will design system components, run calculations, and prepare specifications as part of a growing team in North Carolina.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an EIT license and have about 2 years of land development experience, plus strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Design specific system components for the overall design effort.
• Perform design calculations and prepare equipment/material specifications.
• Provide direction to technical staff and drafters.
• Coordinate information needs with internal clients at LJA.
• Make basic decisions on alternative procedures with available data.
• Apply prescribed methods to portions of the broader assignment.
• Adjust and correlate data and resolve discrepancies.
