Job summary

LJA Transportation in McKinney, TX is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support feasibility studies, cost estimates, design development, and project administration using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, expand your technical toolbox, and contribute to a variety of public and private sector projects while gaining hands-on experience and growth within an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET-accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).
• FE exam passed or in process is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam and water resources software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations and generate drawings and exhibits.
• Prepare equipment/material specifications and assist with project deliverables.
• Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
• Provide project administrative support and assist senior engineers as needed.
