Job summary

Halff is seeking a Water/Wastewater Graduate Civil Engineer for its Little Rock, AR office. You will assist in designing and supporting water utilities projects, with opportunities for growth and ownership in the firm.

Preferred graduates include December 2025 or May 2026. The role emphasizes modeling, planning, design, and construction, with strong teamwork and communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (December 2025 and May 2026 graduates encouraged to apply).
• 0 – 3 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Utility projects and Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Design.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
• Desired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater.
• Great communication skills.
• Solid relationship and team building skills.
• Self-motivated and strong organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.

Water/Wastewater Graduate Civil Engineer

Halff Is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Water & Wastewater Utilities team in our Little Rock, AR office. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design and construction.
