Job summary

The Educational Assistant will provide extra help and tutoring outside of class time to graduate students enrolled in residential ITEC 610 Applied Managerial Statistics for Fall 2026.

Hold residential office hours for one to two hours per week for 15 weeks, with additional residential office hours on weekends during three exam periods; other duties assigned.

This part‑time role is open only to enrolled American University students and aligns with AU's equal opportunity and employment policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate AU student.
• Successful completion of a course in statistics (preferably ITEC 610 at KSB) at the graduate level (grade of B+ or better).
• Very good quantitative skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills.
