Job Description:

Summary:

The ideal undergraduate candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and research.

Essential Functions:

1. 1.) Teaching Assistance
   • Assist in the preparation of course materials, includinglecture notes, assignments, and exams.
   • Conduct tutorials, workshops, or lab sessions to supportstudent learning.
   • Provide guidance and support to students on course-relatedinquiries.
2. 2.) Grading
   • Evaluate and grade assignments, exams, and otherassessments.
   • Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance theirunderstanding and performance.
   • Maintain accurate records of student grades andattendance.
3. 3.) Research Assistance
   • Collaborate with the professor on ongoing researchprojects.
   • Conduct literature reviews and assist in data collection andanalysis.
   • Contribute to the preparation of research publications andpresentations.
4. 4.) Administrative Tasks
   • Assist in organizing and coordinating academic events,seminars, or workshops.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.
• 5 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

• Good academic standing with a strong GPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear andunderstandable manner.
• Familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis, andliterature review.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students,faculty, and staff.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks anddeadlinessimultaneously.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous research experience is an asset.
