Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting for a Cost Management Analyst to join our Graduate Development Program in San Francisco, CA. The role develops core competencies in cost management across capital projects, including planning, estimating, procurement, change management, and reporting.

The two-year program targets recent graduates (less than two years of experience) and offers exposure to services in our cost and commercial management practice, with a structured path to professional consulting

Qualifications

0-2 years of industry experience.
Bachelor's and/or Masters Degree.
Preferred Degrees: Construction Management, Construction Science, Project Management, General Business.

Responsibilities

Support in development of comprehensive project estimates, including construction, fees, direct work, and other associated costs.
Engage with vendors to review, validate, and challenge cost inputs.
Utilize benchmark data from previous projects to inform and assess estimate accuracy.
Capital Planning Support and advise clients on capital planning strategies across large-scale portfolios.
Provide insights to optimize investment decisions and long-term financial planning.
Support procurement activities including vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and bid leveling.
