Job summary

Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Land Development team in Frisco, TX. The role focuses on light industrial and office/warehouse developments, subdivisions, and associated site civil, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater infrastructure.

You will work closely with licensed Professional Engineers, with a path toward licensure, leadership, and ownership within the firm as you grow your technical and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or ABET‑accredited equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in civil design projects.
• Successful completion of the FE exam, with a Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Active pursuit of Professional Engineer licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development projects.
• Develop site designs, grading plans, utility layouts, and stormwater systems using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with surveyors and subconsultants to ensure data accuracy and schedule adherence.
• Prepare permit applications and regulatory submissions to agencies.
