Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Community Advancement team in Akron, Ohio. You will support planning and design efforts, perform analyses, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver people-focused solutions for our clients.

You will use CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation, gain exposure to varied civil projects, and grow in a collaborative, people-first environment. Internship or co-op experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, ArcGIS, or similar software.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Internship or co-op in civil engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and analyses to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans and documentation for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
