Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Community Advancement team in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. You will support planning and design efforts, perform data analyses, and help deliver people-centered civil engineering solutions for clients.

You will work with senior staff, gain exposure to AutoCAD or MicroStation tasks, and develop project documentation while building a foundation for professional growth within OHM Advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience working in AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection and analysis of data to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings
• Review project plans and documentation for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
