Job summary

Westlake offers a Graduate Rotational Opportunities program (GROW) designed to develop newly graduated chemical engineers through a 3-5 year sequence of rotations across Operations, Reliability, Capital Projects and more. Participants gain hands-on experience, leadership training and exposure to real-world process innovation within Westlake's PEM operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong team building, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and delivering projects under a mentor in various rotations.
• Develop leadership and technical skills across operations, reliability and capital projects.
• Contribute to process improvement, safety and cost-saving initiatives.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to engineer creative solutions and drive innovation.
• Prepare for post-program roles such as Process, Production or Maintenance Engineer.
