The University of Pittsburgh seeks a Graduate Career and Professional Development Manager to lead university-wide programs for graduate students’ career development. You will collaborate with 14 schools, design workshops, and expand online platforms to support doctoral career pathways.

The role requires experience in career development, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple initiatives with diverse stakeholders. Hybrid work and campus engagement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s required. Master’s or doctorate preferred.
• Two years’ experience in career and professional development programming and teaching/advising.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills appropriate for various audiences.
• Ability to execute multiple projects with competing deadlines and manage fluctuating workload.
• Demonstrated commitment to incorporating diverse perspectives in university-wide programming.
• Ability to educate and mentor in classroom and one-on-one settings.

Responsabilités

• Deliver, administer, and design programs for graduate career development university-wide.
• Collaborate with school career services, Career Center, and university units to design resources.
• Manage and communicate student outcomes data, including visualization and reporting.
• Teach graduate students about career exploration and professional competencies through workshops and events.
• Administer and expand university online platforms that support professional development and job searches.
• Represent the university in programs and grants with local and national organizations.
