Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro seeks a Graduate Assistant for programming to support ACE and CAP initiatives on campus. You will advise student leaders, help plan events, and manage portions of programming budgets and logistics.

Responsibilities include serving as on-site advisor, attending CAP meetings, and coordinating with campus entities on events like Homecoming and Welcome Weeks. Office hours and event weeks require flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Maintain academic good standing (GPA 3.0) at all times.
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum of 9 credits).
  • Make satisfactory progress toward your degree as defined by your program and Graduate School.
  • Meet the requirements to be eligible for employment in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Advise ACE executive members and manage a portion of programming budget and events.
  • Coordinate room reservations and ensure event logistics are in place.
  • Serve as on-site advisor for ACE and CAP programs and major campus events.
  • Attend CAP meetings, trainings, and conferences.
  • Plan and implement department programming such as Welcome Weeks, Fall Kickoff, Homecoming, and Banquet, and market these initiatives.
  • Serve as liaison for CAP with other campus entities and committees.
  • Participate in CAP and Student Affairs meetings and other duties as assigned.
