Job summary

University of North Carolina at Greensboro seeks a Graduate Assistant for Ace Programming to advise student leaders, help manage budgets and event logistics, and supervise campus programming boards. The GA will work with CAP to plan events like Homecoming and Welcome Weeks, and support campus partnerships.

The role requires coordinating office hours (20 per week) and attending meetings, trainings, and conferences, with a fall-to-spring academic-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience or knowledge in programming for college students is preferred.
• Some event planning experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and peak event weeks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advise students in on-campus programming for ACE and CAP.
• Manage portion of programming budget and room reservations.
• Serve as on-site advisor/supervisor for ACE and CAP programs.
• Attend CAP meetings, trainings, and conferences.
• Assist with planning department initiatives and marketing events.
