Job summary

High Point University is seeking a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Life to deliver first-class customer service and support Student Life Operations. You will maintain broad knowledge of HPU resources and connect students, faculty, and families with the right contacts for timely solutions.

Responsibilities include handling in-person, phone, and email inquiries; collaborating with the Student Life team; and staying current with campus calendars and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for the Graduate Assistant role.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and familiarity with HPU culture.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the HPU experience through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and emails.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the university calendar and resources.
• Collaborates with Student Life team to resolve issues quickly and discreetly.
• Supports the Manager and Coordinator in Student Life Operations duties.
• Communicates with tact and prioritizes tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
