Job summary

Marshall University in Huntington, WV invites applications for a Graduate Assistant in the Access, Connections, and Engagement (ACE) Office. The GA will support planning, coordination, and evaluation of events, workshops, and outreach to link students with campus resources and community opportunities.

Working closely with professional staff, the GA mentors undergraduate student staff, maintains ACE communications, and represents the office at campus and community events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing ACE Office events, workshops, and activities.
• Support outreach to connect students with campus resources and community opportunities.
• Maintain ACE Office communications, including email, flyers, and social media content.
• Collect and analyze data for program assessment and improvement.
• Mentor and guide undergraduate student staff and volunteers.
• Provide front-line support for students visiting the ACE Center, answering questions and connecting them to services.
• Collaborate with campus partners to raise awareness of ACE Office programs.
• Assist with office organization, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
• Represent the ACE Office at campus and community events as needed.
• Will be working 50% with Global Education.
