Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Student Conduct to support the administration of the Student Conduct program. This role offers hands-on experience with case management, education, assessment, and leadership in higher education.

Responsibilities include maintaining files in Maxient, assisting with adjudication, scheduling hearings, and preparing reports on trends and outcomes. In-person work up to 20 hours weekly is required, with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a graduate student at Florida Gulf Coast University.
• Ability to work in person up to 20 hours per week and attend required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case management, documentation, and file maintenance using Maxient and related databases.
• Meet with students referred to Student Conduct to guide through the conduct process.
• Support adjudication processes, including preparing charges and letters.
• Schedule pre-hearing meetings and hearings for multiple committees.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and support of committee members.
• Maintain records, databases, and statistics, collaborating with housing and campus partners.
