Job summary

The Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems at University of South Carolina Upstate seeks a Graduate Assistant to support the Lab-in-Industry (LI²) program. You will help organize industry partnerships, maintain records, and prepare lesson-plan documents for laboratories that connect classroom concepts to real-world manufacturing.

Approximately 20 hours per week during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, schedule coordinated with supervisor.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled graduate student with six graduate credit hours per semester.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized records of current and potential industry partners and site visits.
• Develop lesson-plan documents and SOPs for laboratory activities.
• Create materials to share with partner companies and assist with program promotion.
• Document site visits for social media and outreach purposes.
