Job description

The Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications will report to the Director of Communications. Responsibilities will include all aspects of contest coverage, website information, game notes, statistics, and media relations. Candidates must apply to the Nichols College Graduate Program. This position includes a stipend and begins in August 2025.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:

Candidates should have a genuine understanding and commitment to the development and management of a comprehensive NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division III athletics program.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Ability to work with deadlines
• Computer proficiency, website design, and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of live stats software
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to set up, maintain, and operate athletic streaming equipment
• Familiarity with Side Arm website service

PHYSICAL JOB COMPONENTS:
