Job summary

SEU is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Academic Center for Enrichment on the Lakeland campus. The role supports departmental administration and tutoring staff while the student pursues graduate studies.

This seasonal/temporary position requires a completed bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a SEU graduate program. Responsibilities include supervising tutors, coordinating schedules, assisting with testing, and providing front-line support to SEU community.

Qualifications

• A completed bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a southeastern university graduate program.
• Administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in departmental administrative and project tasks as assigned.
• Supervise and train tutors, office assistants, and testing proctors.
• Support scheduling, coverage, and accountability of student employees.
• Assist with testing center scheduling and accommodated exams.
• Provide assistance via phone, email, and in person to SEU community.
• Proctor exams and manage scheduling conflicts and data tracking.
