Job summary

Highmark Health offers the Summer 2027 Evaluation Analytics Graduate Internship to aspiring analysts. The program targets graduate students and combines hands-on experience with exposure to healthcare research, program evaluation, and data-driven decision making.

Interns will work alongside experienced researchers and leaders to assess outcomes of healthcare programs, develop statistical analyses using SAS and R, and translate findings into actionable insights for organizational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders in planning assignments and solving day-to-day operations.
• Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day operating objectives; receive guidance and mentoring from senior staff.
• Undertake and participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative proposals as requested by management.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs aligned with objectives of the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
