Job summary

Chapman University seeks a Graduate Admission Specialist to manage the graduate admissions process for Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. You will help recruit domestic and international students, coordinate application reviews, and communicate with prospects throughout the admissions cycle.

The role involves collaboration with the Dean, Director of Dodge Admission, and Communications to drive recruitment strategies and ensure smooth operations within the Dodge Admission Center on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in admissions, recruitment, or related field.
• Proven ability to handle simultaneous deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate work from various departments.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment plans in collaboration with the Director of Dodge College Admission.
• Manage the application review process and coordinate reviewer schedules.
• Oversee applicant interview process for all graduate programs and tours.
• Analyze recruitment and admissions data and present findings to leadership.
• Coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruitment events and travel budgets.
• Perform daily admissions duties including email, phone, and in-person inquiries.
