Job summary

JT Russell & Sons, a family-owned highway construction company in Albemarle, NC, is seeking a Full Time Grading/Pipe Foreman. You will oversee grade and pipe crews, ensure safety, and manage equipment and records on a daily basis.

This onsite role requires 3+ years of foreman experience in heavy civil or highway work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read plans. Competitive salary $75,000-$85,000 per year, DOE, with opportunities to lead critical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Grade/Pipe Foreman experience in heavy civil or highway work.
• Ability to supervise crew, train workers, and maintain records of time and materials.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, willingness to perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grade and pipe crews and enforce safety standards.
• Read plans and determine project needs; communicate with foremen and subcontractors.
• Operate pipe laying equipment and oversee maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain daily logs of crew time, materials, and equipment usage, per regulations.
