Job summary

1st Precision Grading LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hardworking Laborer/Operator to support grading and site prep on construction projects.

You'll operate skid steers, excavators, and assist with loading and site tasks, working outdoors in hot desert conditions. Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are essential; CDL is a plus and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

Prior experience in grading, excavation, site work, or general construction preferred.
Ability to operate heavy equipment or willingness to learn under supervision.
Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
CDL a plus or valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, compactors, and grading machinery.
Perform site preparation, rough and finish grading, excavation, and land clearing tasks.
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on job sites.
Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to ensure accurate site work.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety regulations.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
Support crew members with general labor tasks as needed throughout the project.
