Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Grading Crew Supervisor to oversee grading operations in the Austin/Central Texas area. This role focuses on safely coordinating crews, coordinating equipment use, and ensuring work meets project specs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of grading experience, familiarity with surveying, GPS, and robotics, and a reliable safety record. Travel may be required to job sites across the region.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in finish or fine grade operation with an excavator, motor grader, or related experience and training.
• Knowledge of surveying and exposure to GPS and robotics.
• Able to read grade stakes and understand project plans/specifications.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and a good team player with strong attendance and safety record.
• Willing to travel around Austin and Central Texas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grading crews to ensure safe, efficient, and on-schedule work.
• Operate equipment for rough grade, finish grade, slope work, and excavation.
• Inspect equipment before use and at shift end.
• Inform Superintendent of material, equipment, and staffing needs to avoid delays.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and ensure work meets specifications.
