Texas Materials, A CRH company, is seeking a Grading Superintendent in Austin, TX to oversee grading crews and coordinate excavating operations. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence across projects in Central Texas.

Funding for material and staffing needs must be communicated promptly to the Superintendent. Travel around Austin and Central Texas is required; a valid driver’s license and proven grading experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in finish or fine grade operation with an excavator, motor grader, or related equipment
• Knowledge of surveying and exposure to GPS and robotics

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise grading crews to ensure work is safe, efficient, and on schedule
• Operate equipment to perform rough grade, finish grade, slope work and other excavating operations
• Inspect equipment prior to use and at the end of the shift
• Inform the Superintendent of all construction needs (material, equipment, and staffing) promptly to avoid delays
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner
• Inspect all grading work to ensure it meets specifications
• The ability to operate other types of equipment is preferred
• Regular and timely attendance
• Motor grader experience preferred
• Frontline safety responsibilities and management for the crew and the jobsite
