Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a front line supervisor to oversee daily project completion. The role involves directing laborers and operators with a focus on Storm Utility, Dirt/Earth Work, and Miscellaneous Concrete Work, and requires travel to job locations.

Qualified candidates have multiple years of excavation and grading experience and substantial time operating heavy machinery on civil construction projects.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of excavation and grading on civil projects.
• Read plans and specifications accurately.
• Mathematical ability to calculate grades and slopes.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew in safety culture and ensure safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to follow instructions.
• Supervise, train, and coach crew daily.
• Read and follow owner’s plans and specs.
• Supervise operators to ensure proper compaction and quality.
• Perform equipment operator duties when needed.
• Maintain time and material records for job costing.
